Released in 1991, this album was distributed by the record labels Generation Record and Bellaphon. Notably, it marked the last recording of original material by Quatro for five years until the release of “What Goes Around – Greatest & Latest” in 1995. This album also represents a significant transition in Quatro’s career, as it was the first album not to feature her long-time guitarist and then-husband Len Tuckey, from whom she would divorce in 1992.
The album’s reception was generally negative, with the majority of music critics not favoring it. It went largely unnoticed by the public and was a commercial disappointment, failing to chart worldwide. This was only the second time in Quatro’s career that one of her studio albums did not enter the album charts.
The tracklist of “Oh Suzi Q.” includes a mix of covers and original songs, showcasing a variety of writers and composers.
